The Raceday Stewards reviewed where Really Truly fell on the flat close to the line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Really Truly had sustained an injury resulting in her fall and that no further action was warranted.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.E. Mullins, rider of Kimi De Mai (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. D.E. Mullins stated that he became unbalanced on landing and thought he had hit his mount down the shoulder in the first instance. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found D.E. Mullins was in breach of R. 10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.
245B Follow Kilbeggan On Instagram Novice HdlThe Raceday Stewards interviewed D.J Gilligan, rider of Rosie's Wings, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. D.J. Gilligan stated that he felt he had not made contact with what appeared to be the first strike. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found D.J. Gilligan was in breach of R.10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record in this regard (third offence) they suspended him for eight racedays.
245C Tom Lynam Memorial H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn into the home straight involving Cloonainra, ridden by S.J. Fitzsimons, Bhean Saibhre, ridden by P.T. Smithers, and The Monkey Pole, ridden by R.J. Condon, where it appeared Bhean Saibhre suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.R.J. Condon stated that it got tight for room on the home bend. P.T. Smithers stated that he received interference from his outside. S.J. Fitzsimons stated that he thought he was clear of the horses inside him at that point on the home bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found S.J. Fitzsimons, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays.
The Raceday Stewards informed Cian Collins, trainer of Secret Rock, that a repeat performance of his charge who was withdrawn by order the Raceday Stewards after refusing to line up may render the animal liable to a suspension.
R.J. Condon, rider of The Monkey Pole, trained by N Dooly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was tight for room at the last bend.
E. Finegan, rider of Blue Reed (FR), trained by Cian Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was taken wide going to the last hurdle. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the footage and were satisfied no further action was warranted.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders first approach to the start and after consultation with the IHRB starter they were satisfied that the false start was caused by both Cloonainra and Mysilverriverfeale rushing forward despite the riders best efforts.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed S.J. Fitzsimons, rider of Cloonainra, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. S.J. Fitzsimons accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found S.J. Fitzsimons was in breach of R.10.3 (g) (frequency) and R.10.3 (i)(time to respond) and having considered his records (first offence) for both breaches in this regard, for R.10.3(g) they suspended him for three racedays, and for R.10.3(i) they suspended him for two racedays.
245D Peadar's Bar Moate M'dn H'dleD.J Gilligan, rider of Idaho Expresso, trained by D.M. Christie, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
245E New Forest Estate & Golf Club H'cap S'chThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lecale's Diamond, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr N. McParlan, rider of Deadheat (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Mr. N. McParlan accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Mr. N. McParlan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed the first approach to the start resulting in a false start and after consultation with the IHRB starter, they were satisfied that Gorthill broke into canter despite his riders best efforts.
245F Belvedere House & Gardens H'cap S'chaseThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Scalpnagoon, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from J.P.Broderick, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of A Wave Of The Sea, placed first, as compared with its recent form. J.P.Broderick stated that an ease in the ground this evening may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content.
245G John Thomas McNamara INH Flat RaceMr S. Connor, rider of Bellahill (GB), trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left from two furlongs out..
Mr D. McGill, rider of Hill Silver, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a bump in the home straight.

Following the running of race four the IHRB Clerk of the course changed the going on both tracks to Good to Yielding.
For this race meeting the Raceday Stewards suspended the 'Starting Procedures for Tape Starts' and the IHRB suspended Rule 208(i) and Rule 209(i).
